I would rather have a Q delay or two than to release products that do not work. That is the point. Intel with 10 times the R&D budget should be FLAWLESS and they are not.

If AMD had been able to follow that roadmap the only thing that would have saved Intel's bacon is the fact that AMD would not have enough production capacity to dominate the market.

I suppose AMD also would have been in trouble had Intel been able to execute all of its plans flawlessly. For the last couple of years there seems to have been a lot of slippage for both companies.
