I think a dose of realism would be in order. Intel has been in deep shit on technology front roughly from the beginning of 2000 to about middle of 2001, but AMD could take only very limited advantage of it.

By the time Hammer comes out, maybe Intel has a 0.09 P4 with hyperthreading debugged and enabled. Checkmate.

Joe, though anyone can make up a graph out of pure imagination, I for one take it very seriously. If AMD can meet up to the expectations on that graph, more power to them.

Too bad it'll be Jerry Sanders who would take all the credit, instead of the bright engineers like Dirk Meyer and Fred Weber.
