Not needed or not worth their while?

We've been through this discussion before. Being a hacker target is a simple matter of popularity. If the market positions of Linux and Windows were reversed the world would be awash with Linux viruses and the Windows folks would be unwisely crowing about how much "better" they are because there are virtually no Windows viruses to be found.

I haven't heard of many DOS viruses floating around lately. Is that because DOS has suddenly morphed into a bulletproof OS?
