30-day OEX volatility sets low on Friday

ivolatility.com

now, all three time periods, 10-, 20-, and 30-, have set 52-week lows in a similar fashion to last June's dip after the second top. the 20-day MA and the trading bands are still flat as then. volatility stayed low as the price broke down and then periodically tagged the falling 20-day MA in steady downtrend.

the most positive outcome would be a flat trading range as in 88, 91, and 92, in which case, the volatility would stay low.

I am not planning to trade that much, more like invest for the intermediate term.

The guy lost all his money trading yet he still thinks he can handle "just a little drink". The way I figure it, if you are going to lose all your money you should at least learn something from it.

He has all the symptoms of a problem gambler. He should get job and paper trade until he learns to make his own decisions. IMO he will never make it as a trader.
