I understand and do not wish to deprecate greed since it is an integral part of the market and thus, human nature. Be aware though that a hot market attracts foreign capital. To make a market hot is to allow the market to breath more freely. The influx of foreign capital has helped control inflation (as well as improvements in manufacturing methods and managerial infrastructure). AG (IMO) is good at the helm and we shouldn't tamper with his system too much. Too much market control has always been at a detriment to the market and more of a burden on the small investor.
