Do you know what was the lowest bull % since Sept?

We're almost at it... the week of 9/5 was right at this level...30%. The following week dipped to the lows at about 29%...then began the rise up from there to the highs the 3rd week in Nov about 62%

Bears went to about 45% and Bulls about 32% the 3rd week of last Sept.

Yeah and rydex numbers are off the wall.

What are the stages of a bear market? Is it possible that we need more "acceptance" that the turnaround may not be around the corner and/or very strong and bearish sentiment might not be a contrarian indicator?

During the go-go market, bullish sentiment just meant higher stock prices as I recall.
