Many thanks, you solved my problem. That site listed backdoors for many bios types but none of them worked, so I followed a link from there and downloaded a cmos password cracker which worked like a charm. That machine has been screwed up for about six years and I've never gotten around to trying to fix it until now because it booted up and played children's games and I usually brought my laptop home from work so I rarely used it.

I now want to include it as a print server (eventually) on a small home network and I needed to get into things to make sure it would see the ISA card which people on this thread were also a great source of information on.
