Boston's view of the game:
boston.com

Destiny. How else to explain the reversal of a ruling in the closing minutes of
regulation which stripped Oakland of certain victory and avenged a call that went
against the Patriots against these same Raiders in a playoff game a quarter of a
century ago?

Call it "Revenge for Ben Dreith." In 1976, the Patriots probably would have beaten
the Raiders in a December playoff game in Oakland if not for Dreith's
roughing-the-passer call on Ray "Sugar Bear" Hamilton.

Oakland's view of the game:
oaklandtribune.com

They must have been up late cursing all night long and haven't woken up from their hangover...
Their paper does not even mention the game yet...
Maybe they update the site later on in the day...

Perhaps the lines are very long for tripple lattes and frapachinos...

NY's view of the game:

The cover of The NY Daily News reads: "SNOW JOB".
nydailynews.com

The wintry weather last night
conjured up memories of the
infamous "Snow Plow Game" in
1982. This time, the Patriots didn't
need a plow to save them. They had
Tom Brady, Adam Vinatieri and an
instant replay gift.

If you look carefully at the call, there were two penalties that didn't get called:

Woodson's hit to the head on Brady

and

Brady tripping Woodson going for the loose ball

However, the only song that says it all is:

Na, na, NA - NAH
Na, na, NA - NAH

HEY, HEY, HEY....GOOOOOOOD BYE!

<If you ask me, I would think that as soon as the QB makes it evident that he does not intend on
throwing the ball, and his arm motion is stopped, the ball should be considered in play.>

I'm with you Clappy...plus, Brady tends to pump the ball once before he throws, anyway.

I think Deion Sanders is doing a great job as an analyst, I like him.

On last thought...not on football. I was watching a clip of Pres. Bush ....that's a heck of a raspberry he got from that pretzel....look like something one might get from falling off a wagon....just a thought. Scary thought.

Steelers and Rams today.(Although I love Favre and Green Bay)
