if you do exactly the opposite of what is recommended in BARRON'S you'll generally be better off.

Agreed generally that Barron's is frequently a good contrarian indicator, but it also offers a glimpse of WS insights on occasion.

My posting of the Barron's article was intended to share the prevalent thoughts of those who move the market. My own long term decisions were never based on the big boyz's thinking, but short-term, information such as this should be useful to the options players (which many on this thread dabble as), traders, as well as the moaners who need a bit of hand-holding.

I was a little surprised that Steven Milunovich of ML recommended Qualcomm. He's the guy that wrote a very negative investment report on the possible 3g market. I wonder where his enthusiasm is coming from?

AB - Well a bit strong there AB. They were annoyingly slagging things off last year. Following that wouldn't in hindsight have been that bad!!
