No, the point is the rabid attacks on that poor under siege state of Israel, on this thread, and the blind absolution to Islam you and other provide in the face of endless atrocities, not in the last millennium, but in the last 50 years, inflicted by this "gentle" Islam. Some on this thread even proposed the dismantling of the Israeli state and for those that are not massacred like the Christians and Animists are in Sudan, accept an Islamic, Shura ruled "democratic" state. If Israel was stubborn and did not sue for peace for the last 52 years (after each victory over enemies whose sole intent was the eradication of the state and land grabbing), I could understand the defense mounted here, but Israel sought peace incessantly, and when granted (Egypt and Jordan) acted according to these peace treaties. So what is all that acrimony? You think that Palestinians would empty a building before they blow it up (as the Israeli did when blowing up the PA's broadcasting facilities). You have no perception of justice. When Israeli soldiers fire on civilians, they are brought to justice, all they ask is that the PA does the same with their extremists. I shudder at the thought of what would happen if Israel would adopt the same policy that Arafat is, and let extreme elements of Jews roam freely arms in hand (there are "hot heads" on both sides), into the PA territory, reigning death and terror on weddings, running with exploding grenades into mosques full of prayers and targeting schools full of peaceful toddlers.
