re: q's accounting change, do you see any reason they would exclude interest income, except to make forward comps easier (due to the fact that they are now getting a much lower interest rate on their short term holdings)? that perspective makes more and more sense to me, although i am willing to entertain alternative explanations.

Good question. Went out to dinner tonight and saw this hot chick on her cell phone in the booth next to us. Problem is, so was her bored date.

Personal distance is widening. Wireless phones and the overhyped wireless internet connection may well finish the job T.V. started.
