"Churn ->When an existing wireless subscriber leaves one carrier for another, the subscriber has
the tendency to purchase a new handset."

Any analist using this definition must be a sharecropper tightly gripping his leased chair and
trying to survive.

Obviously a Free Churning Subscriber must go for another free handset, no need to really purchase one,
if that is the way the local operators run the sharecropping show.

Due to that lousy definition it gets even more funny trying to define

"Upgrades->We estimate upgrades typically account for 30-40% of handset
replacements. Key drivers of handset upgrades include: 1) better
form factor, as newer handsets typically have smaller, sleeker
designs; 2) longer battery life; 3) migration to digital from analog;
and 4) enhanced media capabilities, such as wireless data (i.e.,
SMS, WAP, GPRS, etc.), PIM functions (contact list or calendar),
ringtones, etc."

No wonder the C++ derived class goes pointing void on the next definition

"Loss/damage-> void"

Funny guys... maybe thinking about the insurance business??
(but good attempt on some basic definitions, although it in ended in
the ususal void of #2 " 2.To excrete (body wastes). ", although great in
the organic fertlizer business)

A brief follow-up. We've recently heard from at least four of the dreaded analysts raising again the fundamental question - oh, which one should I place my faith, and future investment decisions, behind?

1. Deutsche Bank - Strong buy; 2003 earnings estimate of $.98; $35 target and p/e of 35.7.
2. Soundview - Strong Buy; 2003 earnings of $.95; target price of $29 at p/e of 30.
3. H&Q - Neutral; 2003 earnings 0f $.74; price target of $23 at p/e of 31.
4. DJ Morgan - outperform; 2003 earnings estimate of $.72; price target of $13 at a p/e of 18.

Something about fools step into a vacuum of information and speculate - or maybe some political agendas we're not party to?
