My dad had an aortic aneurysm break when he was 77 and they flew him to Peoria where the hot shot surgeon wouldn't touch him. The old Doctor from here signed my dad in and prescribed medication to get his blood pressure down to almost nothing. After 5 days the leak had healed but his pressure was so low his kidneys quit working. He was talking out of his head for 2 days while they raised his blood pressure. He never remembered a second of it though. That's how I know about the kidney deal. BTW, my dad was in the hospital for 3 months and his first night home he called me for a ride, from the mall, he had taken a 3 mile walk.
