<Are we going to fight in Europe?> The Media war is going on already, regular local saturday comedies are getting better and better. Ilmarinen Good for the already longer war on avoiding the media situation in USA, the four national channels and the dumbing down based on paid advertisements. Great posting on the real stuff going on. Btw, all old stuff from CSPAN, just like the present one on "Honky"

(3) US and Saudis making hints about pulling US troops out. (4) Israelis and Palestinians both getting bad press. The hints are all there for you to see. In the middle of a war they do tend to, ahem, overstate their positions a bit. It is an Israeli dream that when the Arab nations all become moderate and Democratic the issue with the Palestinians will go away. I doubt that this will happen. As far as Bahrain's attitude towards Israel and the Palestinians, why not look on their .gov web site? AMIR HOLDS TALKS WITH ARAFAT Bahrains strong support for the Palestinian cause was underlined last night when HH the Amir Shaikh Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa held talks with Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat in the presence of Crown Prince and BDF Commanderin-Chief Shaikh Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa. During the audience at the Safriya Palace they discussed the escalating Israeli aggression on the Palestinian people in the occupied territories. The talks also focused on Middle East peace process in addition to issues of mutual concern. The Amir reiterated Bahrains support for the Palestinian issue so that its people gain their legitimate rights and the creation of an independent state with Jerusalem as its capital. He also asserted full support for international efforts to alleviate the sufferings of the Palestinian people and efforts to end the Middle East violence. Later the Amir hosted a dinner banquet in honour of the visiting Palestinian leader which was also attended by senior Ruling Family members and ministers.
