re: hard-to-get mobile home loans.
______
These buyers need owner or private-investor financing. There is a huge population of real estate investors in this country who do nothing but work deals with buyers or renters of mobile homes. They make a good living at it--of course the investors get the better end of tbese very often creative financing deals, but the buyers/tenants do get a place to live.

Am not one of those investors, but am currently collecting monthly payments from some people outside of Houston, who intend to put their mobile home and possibly some others on the two lots I sold them, if they haven't already. Perhaps I should let some Enron people know I have some more cheap land for sale in the Houston area--some probably need to scale down their living standards these days. Very sad.
