BK and cow,

I've just about given up on this - for something that was supposed to make things easier it has taken up too much of my time and also yours (thank you both).

I did go to the link about the ActiveX and it basically told me that I might have something disabled which I knew.
At this point I don't even think it is an ActiveX issue anymore.

I also checked the Power Management which is set as Always On. I tried installing it again on Netscape by making sure that I terminated all tasks and just leaving Explore and Systray but the same thing happened - freeze city!

If I could just get in touch with these bozo's at dialpad (I have tried calling numerous times and emailed them) I will try and transfer the credit to a regular phone call card.
