OT...

who could have guessed, even as late as ten years ago, that
by 2002 we'd be clamoring for a multi-processor, multi-tasking, multi-user home computer. For every home.

anyone interested in a cut for 2012? Not what we'll have
but rather what we'll be asking for, for 2013.

:-D

"They should work". Interesting. There isn't a single Linux app that doesn't work with multi-user capabilities. Multi-user is new to Microsoft, which probably explains that. But it's a step in the right direction.

Now Windows only needs to implement the rest, like how you upgrade Word while it is in use by several users on the same PC, deleting the old version of use before the last user has stopped using it, without disturbing his use. This is what Linux users are used to be able to do.
