Once thing I've noticed. When I wake up and head out to the studio, I do get a lot done. It's when I get delayed in my schedule that it becomes difficult for me to get my butt in gear. Like Saturday morning, I had planned on getting an early start, but the toilet was backing up so I had to have some guy come to empty the septic tank. Problem actually was too many little daughters shoving way too much TP down the shoot!
Anyhow, I started procrastinating after that. Ended up just going there with my oldest daughter(7) and doing very little, but letting her have a good time hand building and trying to spin.
Yesterday morning, I left before they woke up. This morning, I plan on doing the same thing :)

P.S> I haven't done a glaze firing yet. Only the one bisque load. However after I get the stuff trimmed from yesterday I will have enough for another bisque load. Maybe one more bisque after that and I'll be ready to start glazing pieces. Probably take a week after that to get them ready for the gas kiln.

Hey do you have a couple pounds of gerstley borate I can borrow? I inventoried my raw materials today in hops of mixing up some glazes and found I'm completely out of it.

That's going to set me back a few days, closest place is about 60 miles away and they only deliver on Wednesdays and Fridays. Hopefully I will have some by mid week. I spun a lot this weekend and now have enough ware to fill the kiln.
Firing is scheduled for either friday night or saturday the 22nd. One day up to temperature two days to cool it down. That gives me an extra two dys if something goes wrong before the 26th.

Hope you are doing okay with things on your end. Take care.
