Mindmeld It will happen, it's just a matter of time. Having worked professionally in TV broadcasting a number of years the Internet is getting very close for this to work. Internet II should help us along in the process. I was watching my DVD player last night....6.1megabits a second. To do HDTV justice we need at least 30 megabits a second. I have Direct TV and it sucks on picture quality compared to "good" off air NTSC. Real TV on Internet is coming and Cisco will play big time with it's chips. Eric

I agree with all you said except I believe we may see $40 with a year or two. When Cisco finally begins to move because revenues are growing, then I believe the stock price will rise rapidly. It will all happen quickly. We will be in the $20's and then a few weeks later, pow, $40 will cross the ticker again. Just my humble opinion. I have certainly been wrong about this stock many times before. Jeff

mindmeld: Good post. I agree the cat is out of the bag in regards to downloading movies. This is like the early days of Napster/Mp3 and there's no stopping it! One just has to check the newsgroups and P to P sharing networks for 1000's of free movies for the taking. The new Divx file format is gaining ground and the quality is getting better. I've been struggling with one aspect of VOD. I don't think the average Joe wants to watch the movies on their PC/Computer. I don't see folks downloading and then burning each movies to DVD for replay on their home entertainment units either. Sure there are ways to connect your computer to the TV but I feel it's to difficult for the average Joe. My own personal setup at home involves wires running everywhere to the TV, computer, Hi-fi,DSL, cable etc.. This requires special features on your PC like a video card that outputs to NTSC or RCA etc.. I'm a semi-techie so no problem for me. Whom will bridge the PC to the home entertainment units?
