Meathead,

You raise some interesting points. If Dell, or any other company, is going to offer Customer Service, they sure owe the customer a pleasurable experience, not a nightmare.

Tomorrow is two weeks that I received my computer from Dell. I still haven't received a written conformation on the price or credit conditions. I used the 90 day, same as cash, offer. I was told that the information would be emailed to be. How long should it take for the email to arrive? Certainly not two weeks.

The problem with Dell's tech support is simply that they have downgraded the service by getting rid of their knowledgeable techs and hiring techs who don't know anything. Of course, there are still some exceptions, but very few.
