That's right. Or they could charge those who knew about the scam and shorted the stock. Just like it was insider trading. You can't have that money, you don't deserve it. :o) KZAP

Yes that's a different situation, in that case the company doesn't care about the stock price, they just want to move volumes of paper. In the case with NECO, it looks to me they were after the likes of APWR figures. These guys were probably on the phone pitching people that NECO would be reaching APWR prices, why I say that? Look at their website, newenergyco.com and let the msn stock ticker run, they have APWR ($38.45) after NECO.
