Hi Clappy, What is the difference between 'no more than two' and 'AT LEAST FIVE'? Of course the difference is at least three. It is also the difference between perception & reality for SI Jeff. You see, SI Jeff suspended me for three days. According to him I posted the same (microsoft) message on AT LEAST FIVE message boards last Thursday (1/17/02). Unfortunately, the difference between reality & SI Jeff's faulty perception of it are cold hard & indisputable facts. On 1/17/02; - I only posted messages on 4 boards. Therefore, I couldn't possibly have posted the same message on AT LEAST FIVE BOARDS, - I posted six messages on The Enron Scandal board. None of these posts were duplicated on any thread on SI & none of these messages were about Microsoft. That leaves only three potential threads to spam. That is a far cry from spamming identical messages on AT LEAST FIVE BOARDS, - I only posted two messages on the Clown Free Zone-E-Wave Workspace. One of these posts was duplicated on Voltaire's Porch (although I added additional info to the post on Voltaire's Porch, so it actually was not even a duplicate post). The other Clown Free Zone post was duplicated on Zeev's Turnips. Neither of these two posts were duplicated anywhere else on SI. That now reduces the potential number of boards for spamming to two, - I did not duplicate any post more than one time on any thread on SI on 1/17/02. SI Jeff said his reason for my suspension was because I spammed the same Microsoft message on AT LEAST FIVE BOARDS! That is impossible! My posting history proves that, at most, any message I have posted was duplicated only one additional time on 1/17/02. I find it quite interesting that I contacted; - si-feedback@go2net.com. - si-techsupport@go2net.com - si-membership@go2net.com. I notified each of them of what SI Jeff said & the facts. I asked them to review my posting history to verify that I did not violate any SI rules. I asked them to reinstate my posting privileges once they confirmed I was correct. When I got no reply by late Friday, I contacted each of them again.......... nothing........... I contacted each of them on Saturday............... nothing.............. I contacted each of them on Sunday............. still no reply. My requests were not threatening, rude or in your face. They were businesslike & factual. Perhaps SI Jeff has had me in his cross hairs since he repeatedly suspended Scott. SI Jeff & I exchanged a few PM's discussing the suspensions & discussed SI's definition of spamming. During our discussions, SI Jeff tried to allege that Scott & I were the same person, ET AL. His demeanor was more accusatory than informational. It is so sad how badly SI has deteriorated since I joined. Consider how many rude, ignorant & insolent people freely post their rubbish on these threads with little or no action by SI Admin, yet they have time to stalk people who abide by the rules & suspend them for bogus violations........... regardless of the facts.
