Berney,

I don’t know what you and Casaubon are trying to prove with your posts to me.

If you look at my profile you will notice I have been around for a while. Am old enough to remember the beginnings of ADM by the Minneapolis families. When I was a little girl, went with my father to the grain trade exchange here in Minneapolis to sell our grains to brokers in the grain pits.

Dwayne Andreas has been a master at working Government policies to be advantageous to his business. So has the Cargill family which is still private and located here in Minneapolis. This is no secret as you can read all about it in Kurt Eichenwald’s book "The Informant". We also have the General Mills, Pillsbury, and International Multi Foods companies located here and the families still live here The families are still large owners of these companies. They socialize and do business with each other. If you want to see a successful recent transaction for all parties just look at the International Multi Foods purchase of a couple of businesses when General Mills bought Pillsbury. This transaction was forced by the US government anti trust department during the purchase.

This is a Warren Buffet sector for me. Was raised on a rather large farm in North Dakota which is still in the family and now farmed by the 4 the generation. Live a couple of miles from the International Multi Foods and Cargill Corporation headquarters. The families and management of these corporations also live in the area. Know the businesses and people that are involved. Sounds like a reasonable condition for an investor to me.

Am not a chart chaser, just buy and sell around core positions when the stocks are cheap or over priced.

Joan
