What drew me to MSCC is the unexplained drop in price even as the company has managed to maintain pretty healthy profits. I also have my eye on SMTC, in similar market I believe as MSCC, which would be a good buy around 28 if it gets there. They do power management for the Xbox among other things.

I'm also watching for a bottom in the RF Semiconductors. ANAD for instance was actually up the last couple of trading sessions.

I like buying the higher beta stuff when it gets oversold because the upper Bollinger Band can be a huge percentage higher and allow for greater profits if buying comes back in. MSCC for instance has an upper Bollinger Band currently at 34.39 after closing at 22.95 on Friday.

A rise back up to the upper Bollinger Band would offer a 67% return!
