I apologize for misinterpreting what Mr. Prestbo had said. There have been critics in the past that have compared Intel to organizations like US Steel in order to make a point about the commoditization of the microprocessor, much like steel was commoditized at the turn of the last century. The critics take that to mean that Intel will soon go the way of the railroads and steel conglomerates. I have a different opinion.
