The Interpretation of the Law
or
Ayatollah

The interpretation of the law is left up to Islamic scholars and the law changes on a continual basis. Bin Laden's actions are not universally condemned in the Islamic world. There are plenty of groups that still support Al Quaida and Bin Laden, that is obvious.

Bin Laden also claims exactly that same state of grace that you claim. He is slightly more emphatic in his claim and can disregard the comments of the Western world on Islamic law, they are totally meaningless. His fatwahs do however carry a great deal of weight in the Islamic world. The fact that he is a nutbar never occurs to him, funny that.
