I believe Andersen will unravel over this, or at best remain a small shell of its former self.

The Chicago economy is large, diversified, and traditionally able to withstand the shock of any one company leaving. If you had to name Chicago's leading industry, you really couldn't, because there isn't one.

Do you remember where the article was?

I have no doubt there are numerous other Enrons out there, and that their accountants are complicit in hiding their financial problems.

All I can say is, I'm glad I'm not a partner at Arthur Andersen.
