Like in many countries in Europe, you cannot just go on the "public airwaves" and air whatever poison you want. The Israeli are not shutting down just the Palestinian broadcasting system, they have just shut down an illegal Israeli broadcasting operation as well: Jerusalem Police Raid Pirate Radio Stations (IsraelNN.com) Jerusalem police on Monday morning raided the offices of two pirate radio stations operating out of a hotel on Jaffe Street.
