Certainly was handy timing. I'm not a fan of Arafat by any means, but I don't trust Sharon anymore than I do Arafat. IMO, Arafat wants a Palestinian State without any Israelis; Sharon would be quite happy to have a Palestinian State as long as there weren't any Palestinians in it.

Signatures can be easily forged. But to forge 80 tons of Iranian-made weaponry all packed in tubes for underwater coastal drop-off, that would take real skill.

The intelligence that led to the capture of the Karine A was a joint US-Israeli operation. If there was a deception, was the US the deceiver or the deceived?
