Clappy,

I agree about it being frustrating when they don't reply even though they have a written policy to reply & possibly act within 48 hours.

However, several weeks back, SI Jeff & I discussed Scott's suspensions via PM's. The heart of the discussions was SI's policy for spamming.

I noted that it is not a written policy so it would be fair to warn folks prior to suspending them. I noted that Scott's posts were ON TOPIC & relevant to the threads they were posted on (as were my alleged spam posts). I noted that Scott was suspended without warning & he was not informed how he violated the TOU. I inquired as to the precise definition of sapm per SI Admin so that folks can aviod being suspended.

During our discussions SI Jeff alleged that Scott & I were the same person (which would allow him to terminate both accounts), ET AL. This wild goose chase had no basis in fact, but seemed to be the focus rather than the issues I was inquiring about. In the end, I got him to define spam per SI Admin............. three or more identical posts on different SI threads........... regardless of whether they are ON TOPIC or relevant to the discussions.

Bottom line, my suspension was without warning and no SI official responded to my inquiries to the suspension. I was not in violation of the allegation of spamming of AT LEAST FIVE BOARDS. In fact, I had no identical messages posted more than one additional time (I.E. no violation of the unwritten spam rule).

His bogus allegation was not even close to reality. My suspension was a sad reality of the problems here at SI.
