Management said itdisclosed the reversal of the accrual at the mid-qtr call. However, whether it was fully accounted for in analyst estimates remains uncertain because it was a sell side analyst who asked the question initially and there was enough confusion for a follow-up question on the topic from another analyst. Probably a few analysts did not include it. Bottom line, probably a non-issue as stock is not reacting. 5:17PM Integr Silicon Solut (ISSI) 11.70 -0.79: Reports Q1 (Dec) loss of $0.37 per share, $0.10 worse than the Multex consensus of ($0.27) -- not the First Call consensus estimate was for ($0.28); revenues fell 76.9% year/year to $15.1 mln vs the $14.7 mln consensus. 5:13PM Alliance Semi (ALSC) 11.22 -0.19: Reports Q3 (Dec) loss of $0.27 per share, $0.13 worse than the Multex consensus of ($0.14); revenues fell 90.1% year/year to $6.3 mln vs the $6.7 mln consensus. 5:05PM Integrated Device (IDTI) 25.09 -2.19: -- Update -- On call, says it is comfortable with current consensus estimate of pro forma loss of $0.09 per share for fiscal Q4; for FY03, beginning April, forecasts revenues of $426 mln and EPS of $0.16 (current Multex consensus is $425.4 mln and profit of $0.11)... IDTI +1.41 at 26.50 5:04PM Novellus (NVLS) 36.23 -1.61: -- Update -- Some more color on Q4 EPS. As we reported earlier, the company reported $0.12, a penny better than expected. However, during Q&A, company said that Q4 was helped by a reduction in management bonuses. In other words, the expense accrual charged in Q2 and Q3 was reversed in Q4 giving NVLS a bump on the EPS line. Without this bump, the quarter would have been about break-even, which is around $0.11 shy of consensus. In fairness, it's not clear whether the analysts had already worked this event into their estimates, but it is something to consider.finance.yahoo.com I picked up 2000 shares of IDTI in after hours at 26.29 Thanks for the Book-to-Bill...
