excuse me but those houses bought in 1950 were worth about the same in 1960.
and $15,000 in 1950 is worth $110,000 today...now factor in mortgage costs, taxes, insurance and up keep for 50 years and you have a net loss.
sorry pal..but house ownership for an investment sucks.

Trade, residential real estate cannot continue to appreciate faster than incomes indefinitely for the simple reason that income has to service the debt. mike
