You could be right. If I have to reinstall all my old programs just to have a new OS, then I might just go ahead and buy new software too and it might not be upgrades of my old software.

I kind of think though that I would likely stick with my main software since that's where my data is.

If something better were to come along though, I might just go and get a new computer with the software on it. That is, in several years. By then, who knows what we'll have available?
