Uhhhh....before you lob anymore shots like that, I have to point out that Steve Case of AOL fame recently paid top dollar for a huge chunk of real estate....did he care if he was buying at the top? Probably not. He needs the tax deduction more than he needs to worry about the price he paid. His purchase was reported in the Washington Post. Purchases by people like that are driving up real estate prices in California and other areas of the country. As long as people exist who are willing and able to pay, the price is the price. When people no longer exist who are willing and able to pay, the prices come down.
