Are you saying anyone who accepts contributions is buying favors? If that's the case, how many favors did your hero Clinton/Gore give to lawyers, teachers unions, and any other poor sap who donated to his legal defense fund?

Or more importantly, what favor did he give to communist China for their donation?

What "favors" did they get? SQUAT. Their money didn't buy the Bush team even though the Chinese money bought the Clinton's team.
