Well, Michael I am not sure that those places should be shut down and I would suppose their budgets are very small in comparison to DOD. Since, I am sure of the issues in those places I will not concur or detract form your premise. But since I have first hand witnessed waste and abuse in DOD for more than 30 years and compound that with the lack of real enemy, I am absolutely certain that a sizable cut can be made in DOD while increasing warfighting capability. So the increase in DOD is more folly than anything and is fiscally irresponsible.
