Mephisto. Exactly everyone is hurting from Enron's putrefaction. Actually this article was an equal opportunity slam of both parties from Clinton to Bush. The premise that the economy is recovering, (Greenspan says "no", but his newly appointed interpreters now say he didn't actually mean that)is kind of refuted by the alarming unemployment as well as less spending, more credit card debt. Believing there will be recovery by the second quarter seems to be "irrational exuberance". Enron precipitating the demise of the American economy seems way too pessimistic though. We'll be saved, somehow. I just know it.
