G, Yes, it's a good deal. I was hoping to receive Morgan's equity research too, but I'm told that is not yet available, even for Brownco's preferred clients with $2.5M in equity (not that I yet qualify). I was a bit surprised to hear they would rather compete on price than offer their parent's research, but that is how Janus-faced these mergers often are. I suppose complete integration takes years. It reminds me of MCI-Worldcom, which still have 2 completely different rate structures and compete vigorously with each other. In fact, my wife was recently slammed by MCI while we had a LD account with Worldcom (thru Costco's 5.5 cent/min flat rate plan via TTI Telecom, w/ 6 second incremental billing and no fees). No wonder MCI wanted us back! Sam
