I hope Mr. Newton reads your post. Douglas fined twice in two weeks for unnecessary roughness. I do believe that Carolyn and I were the two on this thread who called a foul the loudest.

I dunno if I agree with that fine. Miller was not running away from the play. The replay made it hard to judge whether he was running toward it to make a defensive stop eventually, but he was certainly on that side of the field and looking toward where the DB who got the pick might be heading.

If Miller hadn't landed on his shoulder wrong and hurt it, there would be no fine at all.
