I could not find this on a search of MSNBC stories and other sites. NO search on AP or UPI will bring this up. I found it on the Second Amendment Sisters site on a chat board. Lucky me.;)

BTW chat boards are good places to find things like this as often people will cut and paste them into the conversation and save them for posterity. Sites often have a way of disabling searches.

This won't help much but I heard a clip from Good Morning America where the cop was interviewed, and he described his use of his gun.

Amazing, it's like there's an embargo on that detail in the print media.
