Lithography: 3 companies - ASML, Nikon, Canon - In good times they usually can't meet demand and have very long order lead times. I don't expect that their customers are that price sensitive.

Etch: 2 companies - AMAT and LRCX - these guys are "family" and I suspect they know the dangers of price competition and manage it very profitably.

CVD and PVD: 2 companies - AMAT and NVLS - not "family" but I suspect the same effect.

Inspection and Measurement: 1 company - KLAC - always looking over its shoulder at AMAT.

LLTC has been the best on profitability, up to 45%. MXIM is close, but that is it. Semi-equips don't have such high margins, but AMAT passed 20% last up cycle.
