Hello Russet A gentleman with whom I correspond and in fact originally persuaded me to look at DMX, wrote to me this afternoon. He read your post and sent the following e-mail: Just noticed Russett's speculations -- a sign of concern, ignorance or hoping to drive the price down? As for no major sponsor/partner, is he unaware that dmx has an agreement with J&J/Mcneil Healthcare to market pennsaid in the USA which will be signed when FDA approves it? Regarding speculation about possible long-term effects of Pennsaid lotion, DMX did a study with 3,700 patients over several years and there were no reports of problems. This is from the pennsaid portion: dimethaid.com Between March 1995 and December 1999, Dimethaid Research Inc. was granted permission by the Health Protection Branch of Health Canada to conduct an Open Investigational New Drug (IND) Study with PENNSAID ® Lotion. This type of unblinded study is customarily conducted after a drug has received commercial approval in order to obtain additional safety data in a larger population than would ordinarily have been treated in standard clinical studies. Dimethaid, however, was granted permission to commence such a study prior to receiving commercial approval because of the significant number of special access requests for PENNSAID® Lotion received by Health Canada. By the conclusion of the study, more than 1,200 physicians had enrolled as investigators and had made PENNSAID® Lotion available to over 3,700 of their patients. ....
