The dirty little secret is that Democrats cannot win the Presidency without a close- to- unanimous black vote, nor many other offices besides. Similarly, they need seniors to vote almost as a block, in order to win the Presidency. On the other hand, it is difficult for Republicans to win without religious conservatives, which means that those who want us to "purge the Party" are basically either giving bad advice or up to no good.......
