Huh? Having friends that own a business is not a prerequisite to starting a business.

Why? There's a private sector out there now that performs the function, and it cost the tax payers nothing.

How, may I ask, does starting your own business equate to the "good old boy network"? Maybe I missed something in JBC's post, but it looked to me like he started the business on his own.

What is the "good old boy network" iyo? Looks like you just like to cast aspersions to me.
