Phil Gramm poor-mouths, Wendy pouts. Neither tell any truth.

Hi Sam,

Thanks for the Sherron Watkins letter link. I'd wanted to read that and am grateful you made the research so easy.

Well, good 'ol boy Phil Gramm got on TV today and told the world that he and sad-eyed Wendy have lost $600,000 and change on their holdings in ENE equity. Yesterday it was our el Presidente's mother in law dropping $8,000. At this rate, we'll be hearing about how Ken Lay has lost hundreds of millions in the next couple of days. My heart goes out to these people........ The Gramm announcement is pretty galling. Since 1993, Wendy has received in excess of $500,000 in salary from Enron, and her total compensation may be as high as $1.85 MM. Her husband, has received about $100,000 in campaign contributions from Enron.

Gosh, I really feel so sorry for this pair.
