MARKET BOUNCES... The major stock averages bounced today. Nasdaq volume even picked up a bit. However, we're not inclined to read too much into the day's action. The Dow and the S&P 500 have held over their November/December lows -- and the Semiconductor (SOX) Index got back over the 510 support level that it broke just yesterday. All these developments are encouraging, but far from conclusive. We'll see if there's any follow-through tomorrow. We still think the risk of a deeper correction is pretty high.
