What's true depends on how many others you can convince.

So did Clinton have sex or no.

I agree with someone else who said you are using true when you should use belief. The opposite of true is false. The opposite of belief is doubt, which seems to me the direction of your argument.

"We're fighting a war against people who believe their truth is the only truth"

I agree. And their truth is not the truth (no matter how many believe it). Referring to "their truth" that their miserable conditions are the fault of the U.S.

"Nothing is fixed, except in the world of those who believe their truth is absolute"

I am not saying that MY truth is absolute. I am saying truth IS absolute. My interpretation of it is subject to error. The dems will purposely mis-state the truth to make their points to people that are either not smart enough to know the truth or beleive truth is determined by poll.

"if you don't think that you are being spun from all directions"

I know that repubs abuse the truth too, but to a much lesser degree imo.

"Take the last election, for example"

A perfect example of the dem's version of truth. Our guy was close, and even though there was no legal reason to selectively recount we will do it anyway because most people will buy it.

"What's true depends on how many others you can convince"

Ridiculous. Again, a perfect example of dem strategy.

We are fighting a war against terrorism, not Islam.

btw, McCain was great on Hardball tonight. I think a Bush McCain ticket in 04 is unbeatable.
