Thanks and I'm getting ready to go to sleep but I remembered something that song brought back. A good thing for me. I knew a Patty R who was very pretty and a bit flighty way back, like 30 years ago. I kinda wanted to date her but was on the shy side. Another guy said he was going to rape her and did and she didn't complain. Hell, she went out with him. I went to college and got a few bucks on the side. I used to stop in and see her and have a beer from time to time and leave her a few bucks. Not to say we were of legal age to drink beer and no, I never bone her even though she offered. I signed up for the army in '69 ad came home on leave in June of '70. Went by Patties place and she was acting hinky, we had been friends so long I could tell something was different. I left and went to Germany and had the local paper forwarded. Seems Patty had picked up a guy at the Red Lion and brought him home. He pulled a gun and kidnapped her and the guy after me went through the door and was shot in the head and killed and dumped in the ditch by Hudson, Illinois. 6 states and 8 bodies. I had the paper sent over and read about it. Like Daym.
