Was that a nice way of saying that Dobry has no business asking for anything not relevant to his case and that any such item requested under suboena would have be for the matter at hand?

I think Gary is hurting now.....

It is a shame when you hurt, because you can't hurt others. We have institutions for such motivated individuals.

Huzzah and hats off to SI for the "standing by their customers" thing. Some may recall a previous SI policy where they wouldn't even notify one of an existing subpoena. Good change of course, and extra kudos for this further action on behalf of the clientele.

She's still at INSP? Excellent!

Coolest lawyer it's ever been my pleasure to know. So unlike most lawyers I've met. Had I known she was on the case, I wouldn't have given the matter another thought.

That reminds me, hasn't it been something like a year now since Puggly was going to sue me in 2 weeks? I bet that qualifies me for membership in an awfully large club.

Edit: Geek Grubbage. Highest value that can be represented by a single byte.

Well, missed this last night - Good decision SI ... smart business move to not point out locations of your members' families to some psycho who is going round the bend due to his own consistent failure at the battle of wits, i should think -ggg-

No responsible court would issue an order to do such a thing, one hopes, at least in the absence of some sort of evidence that any of the Pugsrant class of conspiracy theories have basis in fact ..... and i don't think any of them do - personally i know myself to be just some average doofus who fell in love with the whole idea of SI five years ago, it was my introduction to the internet, quite possibly without it i would never have bought this computer in the first place ... it was just like the front room of that broker's office where we used to hang out around the Quotron machine and drink coffee and read Northern Miners back in the sixties, only this was international, instantaneous ... i'll never forget, one morning early on i logged on in my underwear, and here overnight i have received one of my first responses to a post, from a serious money manager dude in Abu Dhabi ... that was impressive

A lot of people liked SI, we came together to form a culture which early on developed a code of honour and a fierce patriotism ... when waves of sleazeballs invaded to tout their non-reporting garbage productions, first one and then a few more and later on dozens of us stepped up to defend the integrity of the place ... 'conspiracy' - well you'd have to really stretch the definition of the word to apply it here ... there was nothing covert, no pecuniary motives, that i saw anyway, in the whole FBNA association, it was purely public joking around, having fun at the expense of the hypesters ... who would always attack back in some moronic way, so others of us would see that and make yet more fun of them ... even their death threats over the mtei promotion, we made fun of that ... it was great

But a conspiracy? - no ... a spontaneous association of like-minded people who may very well have in some cases made friends for life yet who may very well never meet in the flesh - i have never met any of the Chickerati/FBNers, not one, and never have there been any financial doings between myself and any other of them, with the sole exception of defense against stupid legal harassment ... i strongly suspect the same to be the case among the rest of the group as well.

So good move SI ... you may consider the above my affidavit and pass it to whomever it may concern.

Yours truly,
marcos juandoeski de SI y Otras Partes

Janice,

Darn!!! Does this mean that the reunion is now off again? I was really put out when we all failed to meet in Las Vegas last year for the AZNT party, and now it looks like the Goons' Gala is off as well... Darn! Darn! Darn!
