Yes, when (if) the bonds are sold, the extra shares will show up in the diluted total shares, unless AMD has a loss.

But I think sometime in 2000 AMD filed for a sale of stock. The proceeds were to be used to build Fab 35, but the stock started declining and AMD never issued any stock. I'm just wondering if this shelf offering is still available to AMD's management, or whether it has expired or been cancelled.
